Reduce Your Chances of Dying in a Plane Crash

September 23, 2009 Leave a comment

I spend too much time on the interwebs.  A good chunk of it is for business, but the bigger chunk is for pleasure.  Much of it is time wasted and one of those time-wasting-trivia-knowledge-building websites is informationisbeautiful.net.  It’s compiled, designed & developed by David McCandless, a data & visual journalist.  In his words the site is “visualising information – facts, data, ideas, subjects, issues, statistics, questions – all with the minimum of words. I’m interested in how designed information can help us understand the world, cut through BS and reveal hidden connections, patterns and stories underneath…“  Well with a minimum amount of words… it is uber-cool sh!t!
